 4th Annual Student Show
Our Annual Student Art Show is for students who live and/or go to school in Rancho Cordova. Each year the MACC does a K-12 grade art show to support our youngest creative in Rancho Cordova. The teachers (spanning three school districts and home schoolers) submit student art to dawn the walls of the MACC for three weeks. The MACC works directly with each school and their teachers. If you are a parent who homeschools your creatives, please reach out to Cheryl Gleason at cheryl@cordovacouncil.org. Teachers or a school representative bring the artwork to the MACC on “Intake Day” and the show is curated and hung. This show takes place in April each year as it is ‘Arts Advocacy Month’. The arts are continuously cut out of school budgets as less important, and they are more important than most people understand to ensuring a well-rounded, creative, and engaging education.

The Artist Reception is week 2 so students will be back from Easter Break. During that night in addition to the usual gift giveaways we will hold our Ceremony to crown our first ever Rancho Cordova Youth Poet Laureate for the 2022-2023 season.
