Sac Open Studios, presented free to the public by Verge Center for the Arts, is a celebrated annual event that showcases the vibrant diversity of artists across Sacramento County, West Sacramento, Davis, and Woodland. As Verge’s largest public program, this self-guided studio tour draws over 200 participating artists and around 30,000 attendees each September during the middle two weekends.

For the second weekend, the MACC opens its doors to feature 16-18 artists from Rancho Cordova Arts, providing a unique opportunity for those who may not have a home studio. Visitors can explore, meet, and talk with a range of artists, all with free parking and public transportation access right at the entrance.

The festivities kick off with a Friday night preview party, featuring a live outdoor concert, gallery access, and the chance to meet the artists. Food trucks and beverages will be available for an evening filled with art, music, and community. The gallery remains open Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., inviting guests to engage with artists, learn about their techniques, and dive into their creative stories.
