Rancho Cordova is rich in history from the Gold Rush to Mather Field Air force Base, to Aerojet Rockets and the 20 years since cityhood. Rancho Cordova became a city July of 2003. For many years Rancho Cordova was the community called ‘Mills’ as early as 1893 because of the old grist mills along the river. 

Now 20 years later we will celebrate cityhood and the community who live and work here. A million dreams of those who became the first architects for the city, and the dreams of those they served have worked hard to make Rancho Cordova the city it is today. Places like the MACC have seen those changes and accomplishments. Come celebrate with us.
