6th Annual Student Art Show
In 2024, during our 5th year of the student art show, we had the highest participation of students, and most schools participated. Over 500 pieces of art from TK-12 grade filled both the first and second floor of the MACC. It is important to support the arts in schools for kids. Students involved in the arts are 5 times less likely to drop out of school, 4 times more likely to be recognized for academic achievement, 4 times more likely to receive a bachelor’s degree and 30% more likely to pursue a professional career.

The creative economy generates 2.7 million jobs and is the world’s 5th largest economy. Rancho Cordova Arts Organization recognizes how important the arts are for kids in schools, and that is why they raise money for art supplies for teachers every year in their “Micro Masterpieces” fundraiser online every June.

Come check out the amazing work and things kids are learning by having art in their classrooms. Nineteen schools are represented with over 500 students. See the next generation of creatives.
